After nearly a month away from Premier League action, Coventry City and Newcastle United return to the pitch on Monday afternoon with an opportunity to build on victories that sent both clubs into the international break on a positive note. History favors the visitors in Monday’s matchup. Newcastle has won seven consecutive meetings against Coventry across all competitions, including a 4-1 EFL Championship victory in their most recent encounter back in February 2010.
